We are doing it again!
On Saturday 25th January 2025, the Small Steps Team and friends we will be walking 21k from The Oval Cricket Ground, east along the Thames, through London and back. Last year, by just completing 10K, we raised £8,332.50 so we hope to raise even more by participating in the half marathon this year!
Our team members so far are: Anita, Eszter, Popi, Rayanne, Ruth & Billy & Jem, Mylène, Joanna, Katherine, Olivier, Sandeep, Karl & Julia, Jane & Amy.
Small Steps helps children with special needs, aged from birth to 5 years, work on all areas of their development, using the principles of conductive education.
Children who attend our sessions have cerebral palsy, other forms of motor impairment, syndromes or sensory impairment. They need a great deal of extra stimulation and assistance to help them reach even the most basic milestones. At Small Steps, teachers, conductors and physiotherapists lead both parent and child through a structured programme designed to help each child achieve individualised developmental steps.
We are proud that Small Steps sessions are free to all. We receive no statutory funding and are solely dependent on charitable grants, fundraising and donations, so no matter what the amount, every little bit will make a big difference!
So please dig deep! Thank you 🧡
